WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS THAT WE AIM TO SOLVE?
Nigeria is a developing nation and with numerous challenges facing the health sector. There is congestion of patients at health facilities resulting in limited access to healthcare providers and long waiting time to get healthcare leading to low economic productivity.
According to a study conducted by the Carville team, there is a high number of individuals who want to book appointments at health facilities as well as register at gym facilities however, many do not know where a lot of these facilities are located.
While many hospitals and clinics have functioning laboratories, there are limitations to the number of investigations that can be carried out at these laboratories. However, there is a growing number of diagnostic centers/laboratories all over the country.
There is an increasing difficulty in getting prescription medications despite their availability at pharmacies.
Frequent strikes by healthcare workers in public healthcare facilities lead to health crises as users cannot access healthcare providers during such times.
Due to long-waiting time and challenges of seeking proper healthcare, there is an increasing level of self-diagnosis, self-prescription and self-medication among the general populace as users tend to visit pharmacies instead of the hospitals.
Every day, a lot of individuals are lost to various medical emergencies due to unavailability of ambulances which provide first aid care and transportation for hospitalization.

We would also provide a platform for these facilities to keep appointments organized.
For users with family members who do not have access to mobile phones or are semi-literate to its use, a family profile can be created by any literate member of the family and the information of each family member is provided. This ensures that every member of the family is covered and receives proper healthcare.
Patients/relatives who are on admission at hospitals but cannot get certain medications at the hospitals, can comfortably purchase these medications from any registered pharmacy without the hassle of going to find these medications, fruitlessly, in some cases.
Another advantage of using our platform is that we would help these facilities keep a track of their patients and also retain them. Doctors can follow up on their patients more easily after a first visit to the hospital through telemedicine leading to more income for the health providers.
